About Connect

When you walk in the door of a Connect event you know that you are entering the ultimate MBA information centre.

Firstly, you have a pre-arranged schedule of 1-on-1 information sessions lined up with business schools that you are interested in meeting. These schools have already shown an interest in you through inviting you along, and will give you their undivided attention for the duration of your meeting.

Secondly, you have access to all of the resource that you need to both narrow down your choice of business school and to put together a successful application. For those at the start of the application process, our experienced MBA consultants can help you narrow down your options and educate you on the opportunities available. And for those looking to apply in the near future, we offer CV/Resume clinics, GMAT preparation advice and information on financial assistance and scholarship opportunities.

Attending a Connect event is free, and as you have been pre-selected by business schools is geared to your own personal circumstance. QS has been running the World MBA Tour for over 12 years, and our experience in introducing candidates to the world's top business schools is vast. In 2008 we now strive to further the experience through delivering Connect events in 12 cities across 4 continents.

So wherever you are in the world, the Connect experience is indeed the only personalised MBA application environment around.

Getting a head start in your application process
Many candidates that attend a Connect event see it as a great prequel to their formal MBA admission interview.

Being selected for an MBA interview is your one chance to show the MBA admissions committee who you are beyond your essay, GMAT and personal references. In many cases, it's a step closer to getting in. You might be nervous, but you don't want to freeze up; you also shouldn't walk in overly confident and turn off your interviewer.

Who should attend
When you walk through the door of a Connect event, you find yourself at any point in the process of considering or applying to study an MBA. We would like to introduce some of candidates that attended Connect events in Spring 2008, and the stages they were at when they walked through the door. If you can relate to any of these people, then chances are that attending a Connect event could benefit you.
